Our youth programmes are open to children between the ages of 8 and 18 years. They provide the opportunity for young boys and girls to train under the respectful, caring, honest and responsible guidance of Victory Boxing.
Thank you so much to Victory Boxing. Your team enthusiastically took my son under its wing at a time when he was finding things difficult at primary school. In the two terms he’s been with you, we’ve watched him learn invaluable lessons about teamwork, attitude, supporting others, commitment, respect and perseverance - he’s positively applied these skills at school and socially in a manner which has made both him and us proud. It has undoubtedly contributed to a much happier and more motivated child who is better equipped to deal with his emotions and foster friendships in both social and competitive environments. We are very grateful and think the dedication you and your team show to both coaching and mentoring the children who come to your gym is fantastic.

Our programmes are non-contact fitness based and are underpinned by our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Determination and Caring. Participants have the opportunity to "earn" a Victory Boxing singlet - by working through the programme and showing that they understand and can represent our values, both inside the gym and outside the gym at home, school and in the community. On average it takes a participant 12 weeks to work through the programme and earn their singlet.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop the following character traits:
Coming from an all-female household, boxing has been great for my son, having that time with the boys and being enthusiastic about it! I’ve noticed that he really respects the trainers and the no boxing outside of boxing rule. The fitness and training has helped him channel his emotions into his goals. He’s come along way at managing his own anger since being on the program and I have really enjoyed seeing these positive changes in his attitude.

Victory Boxing is committed to keeping children healthy and safe. I’d like to thank the Victory Boxing team, for the great work they do and for being amazing role models to all the children and young adults that come through their doors. From the minute you walk in the door, we are made to feel welcome. There is always fresh fruit and drink for the kids to fuel up on before they start their session. My daughter first started going along to the girls program on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, in February 2017. Watching her, along with many other girls growing in confidence and self-esteem each week has been so rewarding to see. Paul and the trainers are all so supportive and are always there to encourage and support the girls to be the best they can be and to be role models themselves to new girls starting. Victory Boxing is an amazing asset to our community.

Our Lightweight Classes are for younger boys approximately 8-10 years old, and beginners. These classes cover base conditioning including support exercises and conditioning elements, including shadow boxing, jumping rope, calisthenics, bag punching and focus pad activities.
Lightweights progress to the Heavyweights class which is generally for boys aged 11-13 years old. Following on from base conditioning, our Heavyweight participants move on to advanced conditioning and training and begin to learn the fundamental mechanics, moves and techniques of the sport.
From Term 4 2020, our Featherweights class will be split into Junior Featherweights for Primary and Intermediate aged girls, and Senior Featherweights for College girls. The classes are non-contact fitness training, which includes shadow boxing, jumping rope, calisthenics, bag punching and focus pad activities. Our College girls will be further challenged by developing their technique and increasing their fitness.
Our College Group is for college aged boys. The boys are challenged with skipping, shadow boxing, bag work, focus pads and abdominal exercises.
